I have learned that a pantry stocked with some basic ingredients is the best way to make sure you have a great canvas for some beautiful fresh ingredients. With these ingredients I make our bread, pizza dough, hamburger buns, flour tortillas, pies, cakes, cookies, salad dressing, cream sauces, biscuits and scones, cornbread, brownies, pasta dishes, etc. They are essential to me. They allow me to create beautiful food that we love, and still have some cash left over for our house fund! Some of the ingredients I don’t have to buy every single month because they last a long time, but I do at least make sure I have this list in stock each month. Here is my stocked, not-so-organized (hey, at least some of it’s in baskets!) monthly pantry. And just in case you don’t feel like leaving the house to stock up, you’ll find links to most of my favorite, go-to, dry ingredients at the bottom of the page. 🙂 Happy Pantry-ing!
